This is the first painting from many impressions and pictures taken at the Cote Bleu, France. I spent my vacation there and did some watercolor studies. The light has really fascinated me. Doing this painting I wanted to capture the transparency of the sea combined with beautiful reflections. There is more to follow.

Ein herrlicher Sonnenuntergang veranlasste mich zu diesem Bild. Am Horizont ist der Afsluitdijk schemenhaft zu erkennen, die Boote laufen nach einem Segeltag den Hafen in Makkum an.
